What does a CORE Team Member Do?
CORE
Team Members are people who love their Catholic Faith and are actively answering their baptismal call to share the
love of God with all people!
The role of
an adult CORE Team Member is to work together with the Youth Minister in building the ministry
program for early adolescent youth, providing a safe environment, and serving as role models in participating in the dynamic
life of the Church.
The CORE
Team of adults for the EDGE (Middle School) or LIFE TEEN (High School)
Youth Ministry should expect to receive ongoing training and resources to prepare them for and supply them with opportunities
to EVANGELIZE PARENTS and MINISTER TO YOUTH.
CORE
Team Members commit to the following:
· Attendance for at least one monthly training and planning meeting (date/time for meetings will be set according to availability
of members)
· Attendance
for at least one Youth Ministry each
month. Regular EDGE Gatherings will be on (1)
Saturday each month, after the 5:00pm Parish Liturgy, and LIFE TEEN Gatherings are every Sunday
night from 6-8pm, with a special liturgy twice a month at 5pm.
· Advocating Youth Ministry among parents, youth,
and members of the community.
The EDGE and LIFE TEEN need at least 15 Adult CORE Team Members—
Might
YOU be one of them?
